{PC DVD GTA4 install help} data3.cab

Featured Replies

Hello everyone.

I just bought a brand new copy of GTA4 on disk.I installed the game.it will say after disk 1 installs "Please insert disc 2 that contains the file data.cab".As well as a browse game path section .  I put the path to (OS/program files/Rockstargames/Grand Theft Auto) ,put in disk 2 and it says""Setup could not find a file on the specified path or disk".What am i doing wrong here or is this some kind of glitch in disk install.

Don`t think it matters but i bought the game new,on disk online from Canada.I live in the states.

Don't specify (change) the path. Just open the tray, take out disk 1 and put in disk 2. The setup will automatically detect, that the new disk has been inserted. The specify a path or disk option is just for people with multiple DVD drives.
