My ELS V6 is crashing all the time, so now I'm using V5, but I just wonder,

how can this issue be fixed, EXCEPT that you turn off AI ELS, and I don't want that, So V5 as AI ELS on without crashes.

Anyone have a solution to get this fixed?

Have you tried it and it worked? Please say that, I don't wanna delete everything and redo it and then it doesn't work.

ELS V5 has a lower crash rate (for me, it doesn't crash at all) than V6. But all mods have a chance of crashing a game.

No way to prevent all crashes.

That ELS fix just has you press a button to turn all police lights for the AI on at once. From what I heard it doesn't work well. I've never used it.

That ELS fix just has you press a button to turn all police lights for the AI on at once. From what I heard it doesn't work well. I've never used it.

It only works in certain conditions:

1.) The police are not in their cars to "fight" for control.

2.) The cars are purposely called backup or chase units. They will have their lights on by default, and if they glitch off, they will cooperate with the script to force them on.

All other police cars forcefully shut their lights off if you attempt to turn them on.

Go into your GTA folder and go to els config in there you'll see something that says AI SP=1 change the 1 to a 0 and press save. This will keep it from crashing so much but ELS 5 is more stable than 6 if you like the options of 6 more then try doing what i said.

The ELS fix mod doesn't work well it only works for units you call for backup it doesn't work on units that willing join a pursuit.

It will work but you may not have as many lighting patterns and you can't use the spotlight while your overheads are on.
