Preventing AI from spawning certain police vehicles

Featured Replies

I took over the Polpatriot slot with my favorite CVPI because of the handling modifications I made, the car almost rides on rails. So, whenever I call for NOOSE support it always spawns my CVPI. However, I want it to spawn the standard NOOSE cruiser instead of the Police Patriot slot. Is there a way I can remove the Polpatriot from the list of AI-spawnable cars?

Look in your common/data folder and find a file relating to vehicles/cars. It's not vehicles.ide or handling.dat but I remember there was one.....

EDIT: check your cargrp.dat, it may be in there.

I believe LCPDFR is set up to spawn NOoSE backup in either the NOOSE, FBI, or POLPATRIOT models. It's possible that editing the cargrp.dat file will make the base game not spawn them during wanted levels, but I don't think you can influence LCPDFR spawning.
