I’d like to make the SAHP division use my addon SAHP cars. I added the cars to agency.xml under the SAHP agency, but they don’t seem to spawn anywhere on the highways.

Also, is there a specific region/zone that covers just the highways? I’d like to add it to my Policing Redefined backup XML so that when I’m on a highway and call for local backup, it spawns the SAHP cars instead.

According to the Policing Redefined documentation, these are all the zones you can potentially use. As you can see, highway isn't a defined zone: https://wiki.rage.mp/wiki/Zone::getNameOfZone.

What you can do is call for state backup and configure those how you want them to spawn. There are StateFemalePatrol, StatePatrol and StateK9Patrol inside DefaultRegions.

Yeah, i configured the state backup so that's all good already, but i still couldn't see any cars spawning ambiently even tho i set them up in the agency.xml under "<Agency> <Name>San Andreas Highway Patrol</Name>" and they have a flag "<Flag>SpawnsAmbiently</Flag>".

edit: I think it works it's just that they spawn really rarely
