Hello all

I was wondering if any one could help me as I am trying to replace the stop the ped flashlight model. I have tried replacing the w_me_flashlight in patchday8 and that works well before I do force duty but after that I then pull out my flashlight and it is still the base game flash light

If anyone can help that would be great

The flashlight STP uses isn't the "weapon" model, it's a prop (prop_cs_police_torch.ydr or/and prop_cs_police_torch_02.yft).

what is the path in openiv to get to them

Use the OpenIV search function to find the path.

how do i replace it as the prop is the hole model where as i have 2 different models to make up the flashlight

also there is no texture file like with other replacements

and i just noticed that there is one ytf in openiv but i have two ytd folder for the texture

I am still mega stuck with this

also I'm using the stream light stinger by thinlinesanctuary

Have you tried renaming the Stream Light Stinger files to match the other aforementioned models?

I'm not sure how I made them work, but I used the same flashlight model and had it working with STP a few years ago. Since it has been so long I can't remember exactly.
