The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

LCPDFR not working inside the game

Hello,

I am having an issue with LCPDFR.

Version : "GTA 5 Enhanced Edition"

Launcher : "Steam + Rockstar"

When I launch GTA IV using Rage Plugin Hook, the game starts normally without any errors. However, LCPDFR does not load at all. The game behaves exactly like the vanilla (unmodded) version, and none of the LCPDFR features are available in-game.

What I have observed:

- Rage Plugin Hook launches successfully. (Launching the game ....)

- GTA IV opens normally.

- No LCPDFR menu, F4 not working , no police functions, or mod features appear.

- The game runs as if no mod is installed.

Could you please help me identify what might be causing LCPDFR not to work inside the game?

If there is no RagePluginHook.log being generated then something is blocking it. Have you made sure to add the RagePluginHook.exe and GTA V game folder as exceptions in Windows Security?

Ensure you also have full read/write permissions for users for the game folder (Go to folder properties, then the security tab)

Finally try running RagePluginHook.exe as an admin, and see if you can get the log generated

i tried to do what you said
the mod still not working , the game still unmoded
and there is no RagePluginHook.log file ; the only .log file that exist is RagePluginHookLauncher.log that i sent you previously

Okay no worries.

I don't think there should be a GTA.exe in there, just GTA5_Enhanced.exe and GTA5_Enhanced_BE.exe. Delete all of the .exe's, and verify your game files. Once complete try loading into singleplayer normally first, and then start RagePluginHook.exe

i play on it a little bit but i noticed some bugs :

- (first bug) is that when i enter to any police station i wont be able to see the outfits that im choosing to wear
inside the police locker onlyimage.png

- (second bug) is when i close the road , nothing happens
- (third bug) , the emergency calls missions are the same : robbering , chasing but (4th bug) looking for a suspect mission isnt working

- and i have a question ; since im having enhanced , if i want to download some extra mods for the LSPDFR .. how can i make sure if its working on enhanced version
for an example tow truck mod , smart ai , DLS mod and cars and even uniforms

Okay so for the interior issue there was actually an Enhanced LSPDFR version released to fix that specifically:

Try the latest LSPDFR version first, if these errors continue on that version, please upload the new RagePluginHook.log

For scripts/plugins, they should specify if they are compatible, if they don't you won't know until you try them. DLS works on Enhanced. Vehicle/Ped models should work as long as they are Gen9 models. So any made for Legacy have to be converted.

  • And aslo , I tried to launch OpenIV Fix, but it said that it couldn't detect GTA5.exe. that exe file who caused the "unmodded" problem in the first place, because I had removed GTA5.exe from my game directory.

So i decided to re-added GTA5.exe back again to the game folder just for the OpenIV Fix to open , and was able to launch OpenIV Fix successfully.

My question is: is installing DLS car mods done the same way as in the ELS method used in the legacy version? Because when I go to:

I don't see any LSPDFR vehicle models that can be replaced just like the ELS moded cars method in Legacy—the folder is empty. (i actualy dont know how to install DLS cars so please dont mind me)




In the meantime, I'll try the PD interior fix that you provided to me , and ill keep you updated on the results

I'm not entirely sure, but if the vehicle is made for ELS then it is most likely not going to work on Enhanced, as ELS doesn't work for Enhanced

All replace vehicles are installed the same way, doesn't matter if they are ELS or DLS. When installing replace vehicles you are not physically replacing the files, just the model ingame. You install replace vehicles into the latest DLCPack, which should be mp_2025 or mp_2025_2 if I remember right

No, you use OpenIV to create a copy of part of the game's files in a mod folder (this is offered to be set up automatically when you first go into edit mode), and then you can replace the vehicles by adding them to the latest DLCPack. Addon vehicles are added as their own DLCPacks and their entry gets added to the dlclist.xml

first i rename Gta5_Enhanced.exe to Gta5.exe so that i will be able to launch OpenIV Fix
i navigate to GTAV - mods - Update - x64 - dlcpacks

I Drag and drop the "rpd pack" folder

next I navigate to GTAV - mods - Update - Update.rpf - common - data

i did Open dlclist.xml and added the following line

<Item>dlcpacks:/rpd pack/</Item>
saved the changes and then i closed OpenIV Fix

I Navigate then to GTAV main game folder - plugins - DLS

and then i dropped the DLS XML's files into the folder.


before i launched RagePluginHook , i rename Gta5.exe to Gta5_Enhanced.exe so that i wont get rockstar launcher errors

(EDIT) i rename my mods folder to _mods as what you said and the game launched normaly without crashing
so yeah the problem is from the DLS pack , how to fix it ?
