Correct installation order

1. Create an exclusion in Windows Defender (or your antivirus software) for the Grand Theft Auto V folder.

2. Install LSPDFR to the latest version.

3. Create an exclusion in Windows Defender (or your antivirus software) for RAGEPluginHook.exe.

4. Make sure the Grand Theft Auto V folder has full permissions enabled (Properties > Security).

5. Install Script Hook V.

6. Restart computer.

UPDATE: That made a lil progress but instead of disclaimer it says Rage Plugin hook with white screen then closes

Did RPH generate a RagePluginHook.log? If so please upload it.

If not, open commandline.txt in your main game folder, add -log to it, save and launch RPH again, it should generate a RagePluginHookLauncher.log that you can upload.

I would suggest also trying to load GTA normally first, and then start RPH after you have spawned in

It says on steam that gtav is running but not task manger so i cant launch gtav

Are you able to start GTA by clicking the .exe in the game folder? You can also try logging out of steam and back in again. Some people report that removing the steam_api64.dll file from the game folder and restarting the PC can help

one sec illl try cuz its werid this is a new pc andmy old pc and laptop worked just fine

It says check for scripthookv updates? but after iclick on it it crashes

at least thats what it has done in the past

rockstar games launcher wont close

There is an issue with either your OS or there is another program not allowing you to close games/the rockstar launcher. This is unrelated to RPH or LSPDFR

I'm not sure why your PC is doing that. You might need to reinstall the game and launcher at this point

Thank you all for your help on this, finally figured out after 3 months for others if you switch pc's DO NOT USE ONEDRIVE/BACKUP UR GTAV FILES IT WILL NOT WORK OUT!!! Then again, Gan Ceann and error404vibes Thank you for the help regardless.
