I have some vehicles from an addon I downloaded and I'm trying to make it so that the sheriff team spawns with them but I'm not sure how. I know I have to change something in the agency.xml but I'm not sure what or how.

Agency xml files only impact the units that spawn ambiently. If you want to change the backup units' cars, you'll need to edit the respective sections in the Ultimate backup or Policing Redefined xml files, depending on what you are using.

How would I change it though for both?

If your trying to get your replacement cars to spawn as sheriff then you need to install into patchday also in your lspdfr keys go and look under mainworkaround dlc make sure you change to false that way only your custom cars will spawn as backup units

Broadly said, you just open the xml, find the section you’re trying to edit (such as LSPD etc.) and replace the vehicle lines with your custom car spawn names OR simply add more lines.
