Crashing On Startup

Featured Replies

Hello, I am experiencing some trouble loading into GTA with RPH.

With mods set to load on startup, RPH will crash before even loading in.

I then set them to off, I was able to load in, but when I did ReloadAllPlugins, it would crash.

Occasionally, I would be able to load in fine, but when I pressed F4 in order to ReloadAllPlugins, it would crash instantly after opening the F4 menu.

I set my mods folder to _mods, it didn't work at first, until I went in (and disabled the last recently installed mod, which was EUP Menu), after disabling EUP menu I was able to load in and ReloadAllPlugins just fine.

After re-enabling my _mods, RPH began crashing on startup, back to square one.

I was wondering if someone could look at my crash report and possibly give a decent answer as to what issue I may be experiencing.

I will attach a photo of my installed mods below, as well as my crash report.

Could contain: text, screenshot, menu

Please post the RagePluginHook.log which can be found in the main folder.

TIP: Make sure you have installed EUP correctly.

Sure thing - I have attached my first crash log and last crash log, there is an hour in between the two where I was messing with things.

I did accidentally install EUP Law and Order before I had installed EUP Menu, I was running the game and LSPDFR in between every mod install and I believe it started when I installed EUP Menu, however even after disabling the EUP Menu files, it continued to crash. Unsure if that has anything to do with it but I thought it may be valuable information.

Thanks for the response!

If the issue lies within the mods folder there won't be any log for it unfortunately. It is a case of trial and error, removing one mod at a time until you find the problem

Even with the mods folder disabled, and attempting to load into story mode (without RPH), It says entering story mode for about 5-10 seconds and then GTA closes.

For s**** and giggles, I launched RPH (without it loading LSPDFR, EUP and a bodycam mod) and attempted to load into story mode.

It did successfully load into story mode with RPH oddly enough.

I think you may be right about it being EUP menu then. Can you try open the RPH console (F4) and type loadplugin LSPDFirstResponse.dll and see if it crashes? The idea is to load LSPDFR without EUP menu

Every time I open the RPH console GTA crashes instantly

Do you have the latest nightly release of ScriptHookV.NET? available here:

https://github.com/scripthookvdotnet/scripthookvdotnet-nightly/releases

I reinstalled GTA after not playing for a while about 2 days ago, all the mods that I've installed should be the newest versions, but for the hell of it I did download ScriptHookVDotNet again. (After actually testing it) It seemed that was the cause of one of my issues there, unsure if one of the files wasn't installed but I was able to open the console and successfully load LSPDFR.

I re-enabled the mods folder and GTA crashed after attempting to load into Story Mode with RPH. (With plugins set to load when I do ReloadAllPlugins)

I attached the log below, however I doubt it will actually say what went wrong, otherwise I will attempt to go through the mods I installed and see what could be causing the issue.

Thanks for your help!

Originally, I believed that a mega pack was at fault for the crashing, however I did not change my PackfileLimit or HeapAdjusterLimit to what they should have been, so the crashing stemmed from that.
