The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Sorry if this has been talked to death, but I'm having an issue with Ragehook and it saying the game version isn't supported. Anyway to fix this? I went to the ragehook website and it shows the same exact one I currently have for the game. It says "Installed game version: 3751.0. Supported game version: 3095.0." Already verified the game files and what not. Really unsure as to what to do.

Rage Not In Download.png

As an update: I uninstalled LSPDFR and reinstalled using the manual setup, and Ragehook is not in the download, at all.

Have you created an exception in Windows Security or in the antivirus you use for the Grand Theft Auto V folder? If not, first create one, then manually install LSPDFR again.

RAGEPluginHook.exe is in the archive.

If you feel that I’ve been helpful, a simple “thank you” is enough. 🙂

Apologies for a lack of knowledge on my end, but can you explain to me how to do that? I’ve had to go in and “allow” the download only after attempting to download it but no idea how to make an exception before a download as I’ve never done it.

What antivirus are you using? If you have Windows 10 and you’re using Windows Security, go to:

Virus & threat protectionVirus & threat protection settingsManage settings, then turn off:

  • Real-time protection

  • Cloud-delivered protection

  • Automatic sample submission

  • Tamper Protection

Unblocking in Browser (Google Chrome/Edge)

If your browser says “File is dangerous” or “Download failed – Virus detected,” try the following:

  1. Go to the Downloads section: Press Ctrl + J in your browser.

  2. Choose “Keep dangerous file”: If the file appears there, click on it and select “Keep anyway”.

  3. Temporarily disable Safe Browsing:

    • Go to Settings (⋮) → Privacy and security

    • Click Security

    • Select “No protection (not recommended)”

  4. Download the file.

How to create an exclusion in Windows Security on Windows 10 or 11:

  1. Open Windows Security:

    • Press Windows + S, type Windows Security, and open it.

  2. Go to Virus & threat protection:

    • Click Virus & threat protection.

  3. Manage settings:

    • Under Virus & threat protection settings, click Manage settings.

  4. Add an exclusion:

    • Scroll down to Exclusions and click Add or remove exclusions.

    • Click Add an exclusion, then choose the type: File, Folder, File type, or Process.

    • Select the file or folder you want to exclude.

  5. Confirm:

    • The selected item will now be excluded from real-time scans and other security checks.

This is useful for preventing Windows Security from blocking specific downloads or mods.

If you feel that I’ve been helpful, a simple “thank you” is enough. 🙂

You will have to get the latest RPH version from this website, bundled with the LSPDFR download, the Rage Plugin Hook website doesn't get updated. It doesn't sound like it is getting blocked

I will give this a shot. Because originally it tells me it’s blocked and then I go allow it and then it downloads so I will try this and try to redownload it. Thank you.

I’ve downloaded LSPDFR twice now, and each time the RPH doesn’t get included. Not sure if something is going wrong during the download but I’ve tried both manual and easy install methods.

I've included a screenshot above, where RPH.exe isn't even included. There's nothing there when I download it. I get the Rageplugin.ini but that's it. I'm going to try it again right now.

So, just triedd doing it with the non-manual installation. This is the error message that keeps coming up once I'm in the "RAGE Plugin Hook Setup" where it says "Please accept the RAGE Plugin Hook license" and then you click "show license" and then this shows up. I'm unsure what's blocking it as I'm using Microsoft security and have added an exception to the file.
