the plugin launches gta but the plugin itself gets stuck on launching game and sometimes it will say this is taking longer than expected

Can you try loading into singleplayer normally first and then launching RPH?

If that gives you the same problem, please upload the RagePluginHook.log from your main game folder

when i do that it says error gta is already running and i cannot find a log folder?

sorry i forgot to mention earlier i downloaded the LSPD First Response (Enhanced Preview) on enhanced version of gta

It wont be in a log folder it will just be in your main game folder where GTA5_Enhanced.exe is located!

That should be the correct version!

I only see a ragepluginhook.ini?

If no log is being created then something isn't working. Make sure no files are missing and that Windows or your anti-virus isn't deleting anything.

If it still doesn't launch, open commandline.txt in your main folder and add " -log" to the end of the first line, run RPH again and it should generate a file called RagePluginHookLauncher.log you can upload that then

my commandline.txt is empty...

That's okay, you can just add -log to it

like this? If i did this right i ran rph again like you said and no log folder got created it still boots up gta but gets stuck on launching game

Okay, then you're either missing files or something on your PC is blocking it. Double check Windows Security/Defender, and that no files from the download have been deleted

i checked my windows security protection history and found nothing being blocked, so if i am missing files what should i do because i downloaded the mod straight from the website?

Download it again and cross reference it to make sure nothing is missing. Otherwise RPH should be launching

i cross referenced and even replaced all the files in my gta v enhanced folder with the new lspdfr download i just did and it still does the same thing. I also disabled my real time protection to make sure nothing was getting blocked. It will sometimes but kinda rarely give me the message "this is taking longer than usual"

Hm, okay. Do you have full read/write permissions for the game folder? (folder properties > security)

Also, are you on older hardware? You can go into the RPH settings (hold shift on launch) and increase the plugin timeout threshold but I doubt it will be much use.

Ensure battleye is disabled too

I changed the plugin timeout to 60000
My hardware is caught up nothing is old
both the read and write have a checkmark
I have disabled battle eye through the rockstar games launcher

should we try a live call on discord, i have no idea if that would help

Something must still be blocking it
