I recently been trying to get back to gta lspdfr. I recently did a clean install of gta and lspdfr to start new. When I tried to launch RPH it is stuck on the “Launching Game” menu. I’ve tried launching RPH in game and during the flashing light sequence but had no luck. I’ve also tried running RPH as administrator and had no success. Does anyone have any solution?

Please upload your latest RagePluginHook.log from your main game folder

I dont have this in my main directory

If so then RPH isn't running properly. Make sure both your GTA folder, and RagePluginHook.exe are added as exceptions in Windows Security, then reinstall RPH and LSPDFR manually incase windows deleted any files.

If that does not work, then open commandline.txt in your main game folder and add -log to it. Then run RPH again and upload the RagePluginHookLauncher.log that it generates

I did as you mentioned above, and the RagePluginHookLauncher.log file never generates. Any ideas?

Also, the commandline.txt is empty (aside from me adding -log).

If that is the case then something on your PC is blocking it. Make sure you have added the GTA folder, and then RagePluginHook.exe itself as exceptions in Windows Security, then manually reinstall RPH and LSPDFR and see if it works

Yeah commandline.txt should be empty by default, it is for commandline arguments you want while running RPH

Just reinstalled and its still isn't working. Any ideas?

Nope, I deleted my other anti virus software yesterday

Okay, if logs are not being generated at all then windows or something else is blocking it, you will need to double check

Any idea on where I should look? I'm drawing a blank, Windows and my old antivirus software are the only ones I use

It is strange, usually at this stage a launcher log can at least be generated.

Even running RPH as an admin usually gives something to work with.

Make sure your game folder has full read/write permissions (game folder properties > security)

Just to confirm, you definitely have battleye disabled in the Rockstar Launcher, right?

Just checked, my game folder has full permissions, and BattleEye is disabled

At this point I'm not sure. I suggest starting fresh with a new game and installing RPH again

Unfortunately I’ve reinstalled everything about 2-3 times and had no luck. Doesn’t really make sense to me why it’s not working even though it’s been reinstalled. Do you have any other fixes?

It is most likely windows or something else then, because we can't even get a log to generate. Go through windows security settings again. You may have to have the folder as an exception first, and then reinstall RPH, and then add RPH .exe as an exception before launching it

Very interesting, I updated to windows 11 and now everything works. Thank you for your help
