No audio from plugins

Featured Replies

Greetings,

I am coming with a unpopular issue/bug related to "disabled" audio from plugins like Seatbelt, ELS buttons when pressing activation key, etc. Sounds are not working for some unknown reason (the game is stable and plugins are working perfectly). I have totally no idea what might be causing it, I've been reverting few times in the past 5 months to 3442 game build and after updating everything (game, LSPDFR and RPH/AdvHookV) the sounds are still broken. Since installing gun and siren sounds for the first time when 3442 build was the latest version of the game, I haven't touched anything related to sounds or even tried to modify them.

Is there any possible solution or fix related to described problem? Any support would've been very appreciated.

According to RagePluginHook:

  • Update Required CalloutLauncher, GrammarPolice, RiskierTrafficStops, SuperCallouts

  • Action Required Unstable / Broken Plugins: KucheraCallouts, RadioRealismFR

  • SEVERE - ID:20 These plugins threw an error: Seatbelt

  • WARN - ID:39 Failed to spawn UltimateBackup-units! Please revert your changes in the last edited .xml file: DefaultRegions.xml CustomRegions.xml SpecialUnits.xml. If the error persists, install the original .xml files from the Ultimate Backup Download and remove Menyoo.asi if you use Menyoo.

  1. Make sure you have the latest updates for those plugins.

  2. If you are using this KucheraCallouts I don’t think it’s still up to date and I think it should be uninstalled. If it hasn’t been resolved, you can also try Radio Realism FR.

  3. If you are using this Seatbelt make sure it is installed correctly.

In my opinion, outdated plugins or plugins without recent updates can destabilize the game and lead to frequent errors and crashes.

Tip: Before installing a plugin or a skin, read the latest comments and pay attention to the description/information.

If you feel that I’ve been helpful, a simple “thank you” is enough. 🙂

Sadly none of these things fixed the issue, but thank you for letting me know about other plugin issues.

These types of sound issues are usually related to your sound settings in Windows. Make sure your default device is set correctly and any related drivers are up to date.

I set my headphones as the main audio device, also updated my Windows. Nothing helped. I have totally no idea what's causing it.

Was having the same issue for a long time what fixed it for me you will have to do a reinstall of your current windows update so it keeps everything you have
