Hello.

I installed lspdfr on GTA V enhanced edtion today. After a lot of configuration and trail and error I got RPH to run somewhat normally (it wont let me save changes i make to controller key or load plugins). However I am not able to get it to launch lspdfr. I have tried everything I could think of and still do not have a solution. I am getting seriously annoyed at all this,. I try to load it manually in game with rph and it says it does not have the proper attribute for plugins. I suspect there is an issue with rage as I struggled a lot to get it to run and have to run as admin half the time to not get the insuffitiant permission error even though I made sure it had the exact same permissions for user and admin. And of course it's the fact it won't save changes made to it. And yes the .ini file matches the configs i gave it, but it seems to not matter. Please help. Really frustrated and want to try the new features in the enhanced edition.

Welcome to LCPDFR.com

It sounds like RPH is having trouble accessing the files needed. This is usually caused by a lack of permissions in the game folder.

If you go to your game folder, then folder properties > security, make sure the 'Users' group has full control over the folder. This will allow RPH to launch LSPDFR as well as save keybinds that you set.

If this does not work let me know

Shouldn't running RPH as admin negate that issue?

Did try it now. No change, made sure every user profile had all permissions, still not loading any plugins and still not remembering settings. There is an RPH ini file, and that has the changes of terminal key saved, but seems like RPH wont load that. And it do not recognize any plugins. Do not know if it's relevant but when i try to launch RPH i get this on steam pop up on steam (see attachment). And just to make double sure, I am playing story mode.

It should but it's better to have the permissions set up

Still not loading? Strange, can you upload your latest RagePluginHook.log from your main game folder please?

and the steam popup is normal!

Update GTA V!

Delete the GTA5.exe in your GTAV folder.

Then verify game files.

Is this your latest log?

Do you have any vehicle mods installed? and can you try loading into singleplayer normally first, and then starting RPH?

Latest log, yes. How would I go about starting it after I load in? I mean would it even run when the game is already running?

No other mods than LSPDFR and Scripthook V (with asiloader)

Did load it in game, no change to it. Still same load key, still no plugins, or rather the asi work, but I know that is loaded in differently

Also I wonder if I am using an outdated RPH since I had to get it from and old LSPDFR download since their site currently is not working, or if the issue is because of the plugin not saving preferences and therefore not loading plugins when I start it, but I assume that wouldn't be the issue since I can't load it in game either

To start after loading in, just tab out of the game and start RagePluginHook.exe and see if that works

No, you have the latest RPH version, which is always bundled with the latest LSPDFR

Did load it in game, no change to it. Still same load key, still no plugins, even made sure now by deleting the folders and reinstalling them. Just to be clear, i got the RPH from a legacy download from LSPDFR, it was not in the enhanced zip

Don't know if it's relevante but when i played on legacy it showed up a RPH window loading different things when i loaded in singleplayer, that do not happen now, I assume it is just because it doesn't load plugins

You should be using the enhanced preview if you are playing on enhanced, not the legacy version, that is probably why it is not working

I'm not sure what you mean. If you are installing LSPDFR you need to copy all the files included. RPH is bundled with the LSPDFR download

I seem to have by mistake downloaded the wrong folder now that I tried again. Just to be sure I'll double check when I get home if it works, and I am not supposed to copy in licenses right, or am I?

No worries. Oh yeah licenses can be left out!

Now i've installed the correct version but is stuck with a direct storage message (have installed the fix)

Btw I've read there is supposed to be a much more immersive expirience with on and off duty and progressing through ranks on enhanced, how does that work
