I have an issue with ScripthookV around the Paleto Bay area. Since the last update, when I come up to the intersection entering or exiting paleto with lights and siren Scripthookv just stops working. No error message, crash or nothing in my logs. my sirens continue to wail after I turn my non-els lights off. I cannot access menyoo, simplehud or nothing that requires Scripthookv for them to work. What could have happened?

When you say since the last update, are you referring to GTA, RPH, Scripthook? Do you have the latest ScriptHookVDotNet from here?: https://github.com/scripthookvdotnet/scripthookvdotnet-nightly/releases

I have the lastest GTA, RPH, Scripthook, and scripthookvdotnet installed.

The last GTA update from December 2025 is when I started having issues. I noticed first with not being able to bring up my ELS control panel in game. I pressed ctrl +p and nothing happened. I do not have scroll lock on, and since my ELS loaded and my els controlled vehicles worked properly I paid it no attention and thought it was a glitch until this week's update when I was in a pursuit coming into Paleto Bay from Sandy Shores. When I came up to the first intersection next to the gas station, my ELS vehicle stopped working. I noticed SimpleHUD that I have next to the map disappeared which made me realize Scripthook V crashed. I loaded regular GTA V storymode and near Franklin's SafeHouse in Vinewood Hills, the Hill textures were missing. I reinstalled GTA V and installed everything 1 by 1 and found that oddly enough Scripthook V was causing the crash in Paleto Bay and the texture loss. I tested it again by taking out Scripthook V and I had no texture loss or crashing in Paleto Bay confirming that something within Scripthook V was the issue. I have attached my ELS log maybe ELS is the issue? If it is how do I fix it?

Have a look in your game files, you seem to be loading 3 separate trainers. I don't know if it is causing your problems but it's a place to start. Do you have any map mods installed?

The ELS log seems fine so it's likely a soft crash of Scripthook

interesting, I have had those 3 working together for years without any issue. I have taken trainer V out and tested it with the same result. Before I installed Quant V , I tested it and same thing again. I only have 1 map mod Blaine County Traffic Lights.

If they had been working fine then I doubt it is related then. Could you try maybe without the traffic lights mod and see if it still happens? Otherwise I suspect it's a plugin

I would suggest removing your plugins one at a time and seeing if that fixes the issue. The other thing I noticed is that you have quite a lot of addon vehicles. I remember exepriencing texture loss when I added too many, but yours seems to be localised to one area. Now it should be fine with the limiters and adjusters installed but you could try there as well. Otherwise I'm not sure what would be causing it.

I'm actually working on the plugins folder now. I'm not sure either. For now, I'll just stay away from Paleto or start over one more time when I get the opportunity again.

The updated gameconfig that that was released a few days ago on this site allows me to now play about an hour to an hour 30 minutes. This helped a lot, but it is not the full solution I don't think.

What happens after the hour and a half? Game crash? Or scripthook stops working again?

I played up to 7 hours straight last week. I've been avoiding the paleto bay crash point, but I will test today.

Yes, unfortunately ScripthookV still crashes when I enter/Exit Paleto Bay at the intersection next to the gas station.

Do you have any map mods in that area? Don't see why a script would be causing locational crashing

In the Paleto Bay Area? Yes I have Coastal Callouts installed so the Paleto Bay USCG Station is near

I will continue to test, but so far I am still seeing ELS as the reason I'm still missing hill textures as shown in my above photo.

I'm doing a clean install and yes I get the same results with no mods at all

If you are having audio issues with a clean game then it is more than likely an issue with Windows or drivers possibly. Ensure you have installed any required updates and that your drivers are up-to-date
