EUP only load vanilla uniforms

Featured Replies

Ever since I installed EUP Backup Configurations, lspdfr and policing redefined only loads vanilla uniforms. I installed EUP Backup Configurations only because i wanted cops to wear vests.

I installed Royal Canadian Mounted Police, RCMP Uniform Pack, Vancouver PD Male Uniform. I installed them in the correct locations, but lspdfr and policing redefined still loads vanilla uniforms. How do i completely replace vanilla uniforms?

I suck at modding and don't know how to fix this. Help would be appreciated

my lspdfr xmls:

policing redefined

moderator edit: removed eup.dll attachment.

That's not a mistake. EUP Backup Config and Policing Redefined don't replace the uniforms on their own; they only use what's specified in the LSPDFR XML files.

Even if you install RCMP or Vancouver, if the XML files still point to vanilla, the game will always load vanilla.

To actually use EUP, you have to edit the LSPDFR outfits.xml files and put the EUP outfits there. If you don't touch those files, they'll never be used.

So, you have it installed correctly, but you still need to tell the game which outfits to use.

Please do not re-upload .dll file (EUP.dll) here.

For PR backup to spawn with custom EUP, you have to edit the appropriate .xml files in PR by changing the components of the backup ped.

Thank you I get it now. But I have no idea how to edit outfits.xml to the EUP outfits.

Well, I only know that and I don't really understand the rest. Dude, I don't know how to edit that either.

I decided to uninstall EUP so it atleast loads vpd and rcmp. Is there a different way to make cops wear vests?

Once you're in the police station, you'll find all the character props and accessories there. You could look there; I can't tell you exactly which one, but in the police station, where it says "props" and "components," you could look under "props" or "components."

Thanks, I know that one. But it doesn't affect NPC cops

Off the bat, I can tell you that two out of the three clothing packs you linked are not EUP uniforms. Additionally, my EUP Backup Config does not depend on replacement peds, such as s_m_y_sheriff01 or s_m_y_cop_01. You will need to utilize the default Ultimate Backup or modify my configs if you want to use those specific peds and adjust the component settings accordingly. I suggest sticking with the original Ultimate Backup since it requires fewer files to edit for your intended use. There's no reason to install EUP Backup Configurations if your only intention is to use RCMP and VCPD. I haven't used replacement peds in quite some time, but it should appear like this;

<Ped chance="25" comp_shirt="2" comp_accessories="3" prop_hats="1" prop_glasses="4">S_M_Y_COP_01</Ped>

If you want to enable props like sunglasses or watches, simply add this line below the previous one:

<Ped chance="25" random_props="True">S_M_Y_COP_01</Ped>

That being said, I am not aware of which slots are assigned to which specific uniform parts from the clothing packs you mentioned. You can utilize simple trainer and access the clothes menu to locate the number you require, which is usually found under accessories 2. Lastly, if you plan to change the default backup menu settings, locate the agency_eup.xml file. I hope this guides you in the right direction.
