Hi everyone,

Before I post, I've been modding GTAV LSPDFR since around 2017 with around 2K hours just on steam alone, and this is my first time ever posting on the forum.
and I have never once found this error nor know why this is happening in my game as of now. I've been researching all ends of the internet trying to find solutions and nothing seems to work.

I'm running a completely stripped new game install, no mods besides necessities to play on PC for me. LSPDFR, ScripthookV, SimpleTrainer, and some basic mods like HeadAdjuster, PackFileLimitAdjuster, and a new gameconfig for the updated version of the game.

Iv been having no problems until I went on duty in game and decided to test out a base callout, and noticed my backup units were stuck in place, barley moving around, usually stuck in intersections where they spawn. I looked up the error on different forums, assuming this is a simple error that can be fixed. I saw a good 5 posts of people saying it's an issue with the trainers. The "police ignore player" and the setting was turned off on my trainer, so that was ruled out.

I also found another detail, when the backup was trying to drive to me, I shot at the car and in turn the cops actually got out of the car and decided to walk down the street to where I initially called for backup. So, this small detail revealed to me that the AI knows that I called for backup, and it knows where the attached position was, rendering it not possible that the cops were "ignoring player" from the trainer or 2, not being able to get the correct string method assignments correcrly to the ai.

I begin to theorize is this was a scripting error on the end of the devs at either rockstar or lspdfr, but I haven't ever seen this in my time modding the game.

I decided to install "Ultimate Backup" and I tested my theory if this was a scripting error or if this was a problem with the game itself. Once tested, the script did the same thing as the base backup feature in LSPDFR.

I'm curious if anyone has had this problem before and if this is redundantly happening in the new release of the game following the 20205 December DLC for the game.

Please share your thoughts below, I'm curious what anyone else has experienced as a veteran player!

I'm not here to bash the creators of this amazing mod, or anyone in the community. This community is singlehandedly what made me peruse scripting, development, and data management as a career!

That is certainly a unique bug, I would be pulling my hair out.

So that we can figure out the problem, and solve a bug for LSPDFR if it is the culprit, could you try launching a clean game with just LSPDFR and RPH? If it is still happening then we can definitely rule out third party plugins

If you could as well, upload your RPH log file?

I believe I am experiencing the same issue. I am using Ultimate Backup as well. The backup is trying to drive to my position, but their vehicles are glued to the ground. The AI steps on the pedal, but their cars won't move an inch.

Hi, thanks for a quick reply.

Been troubleshooting and found out the bug was caused by simpletrainer (TrainerV)

I don't really understand why the trainer all of the sudden just broke the AI, but I'm not going to question it and just used a different mod menu.

Delete the trainer from your files, if you are using simpletrainer (TrainerV), run the game again and see if you get the same bug.

Mine had to do with the mod menu I was using.

Thanks for sharing the solution so others may find a fix!

Glad you got it working again anyway, getting mods to cooperate can be painful.

Hey, sorry if this is too late or anything, but what I did to solve the issue is that I reinstalled the previous version of TrainerV and it worked.

I hope this helps if you still want to use the trainer.

For me it is definitely Simple Trainer for GTA V (named trainerV.asi/.ini in the game directory). I installed version 17.9 and the issue appeared. Going back to version 17.7 or 17.8 fixed the bug.

I've got the same issue right now, I will try to use the versions 17.7 or 17.8 again.

They came out with a new version today and it is working correctly!
