The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

As for RPH's rendering code, it's ubiquitously compatible. Even in Linux with Wine, across multiple compatibility layers, RPH's render code works. The blame is on whatever NVIDIA is doing for Smooth Motion. From doing some Googling (searching "nvidia smooth motion crashing github"), it's clear it has not only broken RPH rendering code.

I'm not discounting a workaround eventually being available, but it will take time and effort, and it's not something we're going to get to doing for a while unless the workaround to NVIDIA's breakage is very easy. It's more likely a fix will come in a future NVIDIA driver update if it's impacting other things.
