No blood or headshot splatter effects after installing LSPDFR

Featured Replies

I recently installed LSPDFR on a clean copy of GTA V, and while everything seems to be working fine, I noticed that headshots no longer produce blood or facial splatter effects. It’s a small detail, but it really breaks immersion during shootouts.

I’ve already checked to make sure I’m not running any mods like “Reduced Blood Effects” or anything that disables gore visuals. I also confirmed that files like bloodfx.dat haven’t been overwritten or removed. I’m using the latest version of RAGE Plugin Hook and ScriptHookV, and everything is installed correctly.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or knows how to restore blood effects for headshots? Could it be a conflict with a specific file or setting in LSPDFR?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙏

I think OP and I both have Improvements in Gore as this exact problem is happening to me. I've heard it's been bugged with other blood/gore mods as well.
