How to remove BCSO, replace it with LSSD, assign vehicles by agency, and al

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I'm having a bit of trouble with my LSPDFR setup and could use some help. I'd like to remove or disable the BCSO (Blaine County Sheriff's Office) from appearing in my game, or at least make it so that I don't get randomly assigned to it.

Ideally, I’d like to replace BCSO with the LSSD (Los Santos Sheriff's Department) — keeping the sheriff patrols in Blaine County, but using LSSD vehicles and uniforms instead of the BCSO ones.

In addition, I want to assign specific vehicles to specific agencies — for example, making sure certain cars only spawn for LSPD, others only for SAHP, etc.

Also, I’d like to always have two officers or deputies per patrol car, instead of just one.

Can someone explain how to:

1. Disable or remove BCSO from the LSPDFR agency selection?

2. Replace BCSO with LSSD (keeping sheriff patrols in Blaine County)?

3. Assign specific vehicles to only spawn under specific agencies?

4. Customize AI traffic units to use certain vehicles per agency?

5. Always have two officers/deputies in each patrol vehicle?

I’ve searched around but I’m still unsure of the best way to do this. Any help, advice, or links to tutorials would be really appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Yes, even a backup drive, I have Ultimate Backup... if you could help me, I'd really appreciate it, because I'm not good at it. I can tell you the vehicles I want so you can explain to me how to do it... Thank you

What you can do is replace everything that is BCSO with LSSD. It'll involve a lot of file editing, which would be too much to explain step by step. Some stuff for ambient spawns is found in lspdfr>data and lspdfr>data>custom.
Then you will find the backup units XML files for Ultimate Backup in Plugins>LSPDFR>UltimateBackup.

Handled by the XMLs found in lspdfr>data

Just edit the vehicle entries and replace the current vehicle names (sheriff, sheriff2 etc.) with what you want.

Ambient spawns are handled by the files in lspdfr>data

In UB there's pax and pax_chance. Set pax to 1 and pax_chance to 100 for two officers per vehicle every time.

OK, but how do you actually do it? Like I said before, I'm not very good at it. Could you explain it to me one thing at a time? That way, you don't have to write it all down at once, and it'll be easier for you too?
