The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

LSPDFR Crashes on accepting ANY pursuit from ANY Callout Pack.

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

So I am not too sure what is going on, but I updated my LSPDFR and RAGE to the latest, and literally ANY pursuit related callout, from any callout pack or even LSPD:FR itself, even on traffic stops when people take off and it starts a pursuit, LSPDFR completely crashes with the error: [TRACE] [CONSOLE] System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Here is my RagePluginHook.log. This was not happening before I updated my game and RAGE when I was playing a few months ago, and the ONLY plugins I have updated are GrammerPolice.

I have googled and looked around the forum for other similar posts about this problem and have not been able to find anything.

EDIT: Well I decided to look a bit more after posting this, I guess ALOT of people are having the same exact issue, and from what I can gather, this is an issue with LSPD:FR itself, and not something we can fix ourselves. Major, MAJOR disappointment, especially since people have been having this issue since the last update on July 14th. Hopefully something gets fixed soon. Time to play the waiting game I suppose!

About Me

Hi! My name is Shelby. I am 25yo and am currently employed as a Sheriffs Deputy in my home state of Oklahoma. I have always had a deep passion for Law Enforcement and have been pursuing my dream since I was a mere child. I am very blessed to have my dream job now, and I come and play LSPD:FR when I am off or have downtime. I have been using LSPD:FR since I was a teenager in High School, LCPD:FR when I was a child, and I love it!

I'm also a programmer, mod developer (PC & Xbox 360) and hardware hacker when I have the time, major Xbox 360 hacker with thousands of consoles under my belt. I love to mod consoles and get linux running on anything, haha.

this should fix the pursuit crash

It does fix the pursuit related crashes but now I cant get GTA V legacy to launch at all. It forces something into offline mode and It cant verify the ownership. Running on steam, fresh install except LSPDFR and the pursuit fix. No mods at all while testing.

Catchin' bad guys since 1999.

Works like a charm for me on R* Launcher. Well, nonetheless I appreciate it!

did you disable the battleeye in rockstar game launcher?

I would be very surprised to learn that it has anything to do with BattleEye Anti-Cheat. I never disabled it to my knowledge and LSPD:FR has ran fine for years with it.
