hey, every once in a while i’ll get crashes and get help from others with my rph.log but i want to be independent and do it myself. can anybody teach me how to read it or what to look for?

A lot of it is just skipping to the end and seeing what exactly happened and what the reason for the crash is. However, the log also provides information about which plugins were loaded and which LSPDFR plugins you have installed. It takes time to thoroughly understand what you're looking at.
