Yall, i am SO tired of this now, I've tried everything and RAGE Plugin Hook still won't hook.

 

I’ve just done a completely clean install of GTA V, LSPDFR, and RAGE Plugin Hook — no mods, no extras, nothing. Still won’t hook.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

 

Uninstalled my anti virus and disabled windows anti virus completely.
 

Excluded the GTA V folder and Temp folder from Windows Defender.
 

Turned off real-time protection.
 

Ran RPH as admin.
 

Checked protection history — nothing being blocked.
 

Verified game files through Steam.
 

Removed MSI Afterburner.
 

Installed and repaired latest Visual C++ redistributables.
 

Tried launching RPH in verbose mode — still no log file created.
 

Moved RAGE to different folders just in case — no change.
 

RPH launches, game opens, but RPH just does not hook.
 

I’ve followed every guide I could find, gone through Reddit threads, tried every fix I could get my hands on. This is beyond frustrating.

If anyone has any idea what the hell could be causing this, I’d seriously appreciate it. I’m losing the will to live over a plugin hook at this point.

 

Have you tried launching GTA and whenever you hear something from the game or see the intro video, launching RPH?

I was having the same problem as you, then just ran both gta and RPH as admin and it worked, you can also try to force windowed mode in RPH settings. Or try to launch Gta wait until you get to the EULA screen then launch rph

Have you happened to find any fix for this yet? I had this happen last year and solved it by doing a Windows reinstall, but don't recommend it. It's now happened again after a small Windows update. I've tried all the recommended fixes (then and now) and they never work. It seems to me that something is corrupting in the OS or at least causing some sort of incompatibility that the RPH team still can't find a true fix for... However, the nuclear option of reinstalling Windows is always there.
