The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Error in the first seconds of the game launch

Hey, 

I'm getting a crash in like the first 3 seconds, of the game window opening. RPH Loads, then the game window pops up and I get the crash.

I believe the problem will be this line "[4/30/2025 23:26:44.943] Failed to retrieve D3D call in reasonable time, changing hooking mode"

 

This is with the mods folder renamed to _mods. Tried removing plug-ins, didn't help. When I do a clean reinstall of the LSPDFR, it launches the first time, after that this error just repeats every single time. Any ideas?

    Please try the following:

     

    - Change your RagePluginHook timeout threshold to 60000

     

    - Launch GTA 5 with the Rockstar Games Launcher, and WAIT for the game window to pop up and begin its load sequence. As soon as the sound or video appears in the game window, tab out and launch RPH, and then tab back into the game. 
     

    RPH best hooks when the game has already started running. Launching the game with RPH instead of the  R* Launcher allows RPH to attempt hooking before the game starts up, and will cause a crash.
