I'm thinking about trying this program out. I currently have a MAC.. which I know won't work. Does anyone have any info on what I should look for when purchasing a new computer? I want this game to work the best it can.. But I not sure what to look for exactly! Any help is appreciated

Try using Boot Camp to run Windows on your Mac. That should work if you Mac has good specs. Please list them and we can see if you can run the game.

You might also want to check out if you can purchase the game through STEAM, since it's Mac compatible. But maybe someone can correct me here, I'm not sure if the mod itself is Mac compatible.

Nope. Your graphics card is a quarter of minimum requirement and a 6th of what you should have.

Weird. The link is correct, but the topic is showing up blank.

I have a 2011 Imac that I just put boot camp on. I did have some early trouble with this game crashing all the time but I think I finally got it worked out. I can play solidly now for as long as I like with 2 modded cars and ELS V6. I did turn down my graphics thou. Seemed like the higher they were the more choppy it was, and I have the 6970m with 2gb. If you can find a pc that will play the game go for it..

My specs

intel dual core 2.0

Nvidia 550 TI

4 gigs of ram

 

I can run with decent frame rate with Braveheart, lcpdfr and police helper running with ELS v6 and high poly cars. I can't run SNT though cause the game goes bonkers with textures.

My specs are minimum. Yes! you need to try the game out!! its a blast!
