I made some custom changes in the xml files for UB, namely SpecialUnits.xml, CustomRegions.xml and Default Regions.xml. I've done this before and didn't have these issues before. I came across an old thread that said to use a xml verifier however it didn't return anything wrong. It has to be those files because I ended up reinstalling UB because I reinstalled it to be safe but when I added the xml files back it just died on me again. Is there any way I can easily find what mistake I made? This is the last thing missing before I got my game back in the state I left it in when I last took a break some months ago and would love to get it running. UB does not work at all, not via the menu and not via GrammarPolice, no backup ever spawns

Make sure it’s properly installed. Force the issue you’re experiencing and upload your latest RagePluginHook.log to this thread afterwards. You can find it in the main game directory.

RagePluginHook.logI ended up reinstalling it again to test if using the files that come with it works, and it does. When I put mine back in it ceased to exist again. I'm not sure how much information you'll be able to gather from the logs if it seems like UB is non-existent. But I have no idea about this stuff so here ya go 🙂

You accidentally added a zone twice to two different units. A zone can only be used by one single unit otherwise your UltimateBackup crashes.

Thanks so much, took me a while to actually fix it due to the smoothness of my brain but I got there in the end. As to the MegaphoneUI I already have the latest version installed according to my downloads folder but I'll give it a look.
