Launch game with custom arguments

Featured Replies

“-skipPatcherCheck -launchTitleInFolder C:\program files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V”.

I receive this error every time I launch my GTA through the RagePluginHook.exe and I have uninstalled GTA and LSPDFR twice now trying to fix I press continue and my game launches but does not launch with RagePluginHook just base game. My rage Pluginhook just says “this is taking longer than usual” and the game launches without it can anyone help I’ve been working on it for over an hour now removing admin privileges changing Rage settings and steam settings and nothing is working I had the mod on this pc about a year ago and everything worked fine I also made sure to manually install everything and do it correctly

can you send the rage log

unblock rage hook in properties and set it all user  and disable windows firewalls

Downloading again one more time just to make sure I will send it after trying again

I may have found the solution to the issue, and its quite simple.

-Edit Ragehook launcher properties to "run as admin" from within the game directory

-Launch Ragehook and hit yes when prompted to run as admin

-once steam opens the game, go ahead and select continue when the "custom arguments" message pops up.

-In the task bar, select ragehook and make sure it stays "on top" as gta loads in the background. Should load up just fine.

Instant classic 85's comment helped me see if that helps you

Unfortunately, that did not work for me.

Let me just make sure you are doing it right. Can you see through the ragehook launch screen, with it saying "waiting" as the game launches behind it?

If it helps, I can make a video showing how I do it.
