ELS Issues HELP PLEASE!

Featured Replies

So I have recently come to mod my GTA IV, I have serveral mods installed (ENB, LCDPFR, HQ textures, car packs etc..) Due to having new Police cars I needed to install an ELS mod V6 which I did.

Issue 1: It works when other cops are chasing me but NOT when I am triggering the horn signal system myself in a cop car

Issue 2: It makes my GTA IV crash after 5 min.

And yes it only crashes when I have my ELS mod installed, I have tried with and without.

I really need help to deal with this, settings, tweaks, anything you can do to help me get rid of this issue.

Specs:

i5 2500k 4.2ghz

8gb ram 1600mhz

7950 3GB OC

Your best bet is to go with ELS V5, because V6 imho isn't very stable and caused me lots of problems, since I switched too V5 I can play until I get bored and never crash!

ELS V5 is indeed much more stable than V6, though I haven't a problem, knock on wood, ever since I started using it. Until ELS V7 comes out, which is still a ways off most likely, as Caine is still making and tweaking it. But it looks far more stable and seems to have some cool new features. But as previously stated, ELS V5 is your best stable bet.

Issue 1: There is a separate button to activate ELS lights. Default is: J - Primary;  K - Secondary;  L - Takedowns

Issue 2: Disabling ELS for AI in ELS.ini in your GTA IV directory will slow down the crashing, but the AI will not use the lights; they will only use sirens.

V5 seems to have fixed the problem, works so much better!

Only problem is that the lights go very fast, what command in the ini file is reffering to this?
