New to this, would this PC run GTA V & LSPDFR

Featured Replies

I am looking to get a PC, but I don't have much of a budget at all. I'm looking to just get a cheap prebuilt and upgrade over time. I found this PC with these specs (PC linked below) and I wanted to get a little insight to see if it would run LSPDFR well.

SPECS:

  • 🏿 CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2650 v2 (8-core / 16-threads) 3.4 GHz Max Turbo
  • 🧩 RAM: 16GB DDR-3 Memory
  • 👾 GPU: EVGA GEFORCE GTX 960
  • 🗃️ HDD: 128GB SSD + 320GB SATA HDD
  • PSU: 500W 80+ Bronze
  • 📶 Wi-Fi Adapter is Included
  • 📥 Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Activated

I ONLY WANT THE TWO FOLLOWING MODS TO ADD ON TO THE GAME:

Again, I am super super new to all of this so any insights on this setup are much appreciated.

The problem is your inherent ability to upgrade over time isn't going to be much.

You could upgrade GPU, but it will be likely bottlenecked by the CPU. I don't know how much of an upgrade path there is for that Xeon range, but its on DDR3 which suggests it's a little older now.

I agree with Yasd that you can probably run medium, but I don't think you'll be able to upgrade this system too much if that's what you're hoping to down the road. There's a whole world of PC games out there, I really wouldn't get a PC that can just run GTA V, a very old game on medium, if budget allows
