I installed a non-els ford Taurus police car ( ) I hear the rhino push bar is optional so I install the ar using sparkiv and I put car mods in before but this one the rhino push bar and the light bar keep disappearing and reappearing

 

what do I do to fix that?

 

and I apologies if this is the wrong support form but im new to this site so trying to find where to post for help im having trouble  

 

so can someone please help me bc a few other cars I tried installing do the same thing.

Do you have ELS installed?

ELS uses the extras system, Non-ELS uses the in-game lighting. Un-install ELS if you don't use it. The pushbar & lightbar are obviously extras and ELS is reloading them.

 

Just uninstall ELS and click G for your lights and sirens to come on. :)

I do have els installed and I have one els run police f150 installed if I uninstall els could I still keep the f150 in or do I have to remove the f150?

what ever slot you have that non els car in you have to disable els for that car in the .ini file

but im just saying if he wanted to keep the 1 els car, then all he has to do is disable els for all the other cars. thats what i did. i put 2 els cars in my game. 1 in noose and 1 in fbi. all the others are non els, keeps my game running longer and with higher fps. but like you said its an option, and one of many possible

Thats a very good idea never thought of it.

If you only have one ELS car, then change the "Active" part from "1" to "0" in ELS.ini for every car except whatever slot you have the ELS car in (most likely polpatriot for your truck). If you add more ELS enabled cars, make sure to change the respective options in ELS.ini back to Active (1).

ok ill do the and thanks for the help my problem is solved I ened up putting in another non els police truck (chevy Tahoe) and removed els and have had no problems

hey I was wondering if I could get some help with another issue I'm having with a script mod (bravehearts FDLC script) 

 

I don't mean to post in the wrong help / support area but idk where to get support on this script.

 

but I install it into my gta 4 directory run the game as administrator and click F4 and nothing happens

 

I had this problem with his policing script and LCPDFR (the stable versions not .95 rc2) and I did everything correctly and nothing with that either

 

now to see if it was how I was installing the mod I installed the Police Pursuit Mod by team neo and that mod worked no problem (it just gets boring with the same call outs and their mod lacks the detail the I saw lcpdfr has ) 

 

so can some one help me even if its to post in this in right support form

You have to put it in the "Scripts" folder.

I did that and it wouldn't work :(

 

with lcpdfr alt-p doesn't do anything I installed it its in the scripts folder in the gta 4 directory and ran the game as admin
