Be aware the game has just received an update - meaning ScriptHook no longer works and in turn possibly RagePlugin/LSPDFR. Haven't seen an announcement on main page yet though

Just tried to launch the game and got that dreaded message. This is becoming a pain with these continuous updateas.

Even though i have original GTA 5 i can feel the comfort of cracked players. Well wish that LSPDFR work with crack game. Btw no Scripthookv Update means no Update to ANYTHING. Yes all GTA modders are up to 1 guy, can't think what happens next if Alexander Blade dies.

ScriptHookV, RPH, and LSPDFR are all affected yes. However, the mods folder should still work fine.

Difference here is that people who bought a copy can only not play for a short period of time whereas people with a cracked version cannot play at all.

Mainly ELS. But you can still play LSPDFR with certain vehicles that aren't ELS required.

They could have released Online as a separate module but no. Now those of us who don't play online have to sacrifice a large amount of disk space for content we don't need AND put up with constant updates that break everything for everyone.

 

By the way, I can't even launch the game. Attempting it is met with swift resistance

Yeah cause ScriptHookV hasn't updated yet. Remove the ScriptHookV.dll and you can play just without ScriptHookV.

But you can't play LSPDFR without ScriptHookV? am I wrong?

ScriptHookV is only used for popular modifications such as ELS. You can play LSPDFR perfectly fine without ScriptHookV updated if you are ok with not using ELS vehicles, and other plugins using ScriptHookV, until ScriptHookV updates. That is why most people will recommend waiting for all 3 to update, so you don't have to play LSPDFR without ELS.
