RPH Not Launching AT ALL

Featured Replies

I get a message saying I can't run RPH with administrative privileges and when I disable administrative privileges I get no response whatsoever, just the loading mouse wheel twice and it never opens. I have no mods installed, only the requirements for the Los Santos Red plugin mod. I've added my GTA5 folder and RPH to windows security exclusions and re-installed everything 3-4 times. I have no idea what's causing this and I haven't seen anyone else with this particular problem, no response at all like something is blocking it. Here is my folder:

Could contain: text, screenshot, software, multimedia software, graphics software, editing

Removed it, still not launching. I only get a response from RPH when I run it in Admin mode.

then the problem is in the mods folder, remove the mods folder and try again

Already tried this, no joy and I have no mods installed. Took out the folder it's still not repsonding at all when I click RPH, just a loading mouse wheel twice. I'm trying to figure out what exactly is blocking it, it seems my pc does this dumb shit purposely with every update

do this how i say in order no shortcuts or something
1.verify game files
2. open RPH while holding left shift then go to plugins and click load all plugins and then save and launch
3.then let it open then when it crashes or doesnt
4.after that reset your computer
5. open rph with admin mode
also if u have mods from https://www.gta5-mods.com/ it can crash ur game ive deleted those mods from that site and it worked.

Verify through Steam? Tried that, and re-installed.

The problem with me is mines doesn't open at all, holding down shift before clicking RPH only gives me the loading mouse wheel two times in a row and it's no response,

doesn't show as running in task bar. So I can't open RPH to edit settings.

I only get a message that I "can't run RPH with elevated privileges" and to disable it after running it in Admin mode.

I have no mods, fresh clean install and it's windows antivirus is disabled.

RPH ONLY opens when I'm re-installing it for the first time getting their disclaimer screen, then after that it's no response.

now i would say either reinstall windows or get help from a moderator in the ragepluginhook Discord

I ended up being able to open RPH by installing LSPDFR instead of basic RPH. I don't know why it wasn't opening. I guess some file in LSPDFR is allowing it to run. I don't play with LSPDFR so I turn it off in plugins but it's certainly a weird fix. I actually talked to some moderator about it on discord and all he said was "it's your system, but I'm not here to explain that." Lmao. Also, I tried many things before this, vanilla game with no mods, AV off, all that jazz. There's actually quite a lot of people with this exact same problem on the discord and the forums. Nobody has really said what is causing it yet.
