GTA IV EFLC wont start (Solved, Saw pinned thread)

Featured Replies

Just re-installed gta eflc today, But i can't launch it from steam, From the folder or anything.

I'm on a windows 8 computer ( I assume this is why but i've played this game modded and non modded on win 8 before...)

If i launch the game from folder with launcher it gives me SetLaunch error which is fixed by running as admin, If i run as admin all goes normal launcher opens hit play.....Game never opens...If i launch it from Steam the game opens launcher i hit play......Game just right away crashing without even showing a window or a error message.

Anything to fix this, Or anything im doing wrong? No mods are installed currently i was going to play first then make a save and then install the mods but seems like i can't even open it.

EDIT: I saw the windows 8 pinned thread about how to run this in windows 8, This was solved!
