Hello all! Is there a way to make vehicles like tow trucks, ambulances and taxis/Ubers that I call for people respond slower? lol

 

I have been trying to take a more realistic approach when I'm playing, and it takes away from my immersion when I call a tow truck or a taxi for someone that can't drive and it shows up in like 2 seconds. (I use stop the ped, or grammar police to call in these vehicles).

Yesterday when I stopped someone for speeding, they had a suspended license so I decided to tow their vehicle, I thought it would have been cool to call in the tow truck and then while they are on the way I could do all the paperwork. Maybe I'm being weird but I like the realistic side of the game too, not all gun fights and car chases.

 

You might check the atoptheped.ini for an option, at what distance the tow truck is spawning. If there is no option, you have none.

I'm not sure about the tow trucks but Better EMS might be somthing to look at.

StopThePed.ini has an option to edit the spawn distance for:

- prisoner transport:

 

- coroners:

 

- tow trucks:

 

- insurance:

 

- animal control:
