Game Crash After Update Once Loading LSPDFR into Console

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've reviewed other people's crash issues after this recent update and I could not find one with a similar issue, so here I am asking for your help. Once I load LSPDFR from the F4 console, the game proceeds to crash. Please see the attached RPH crash log.   RagePluginHook.log

Thanks!

as well as that, If pressing F4 crashes the game you have an old version of scripthookv.net somewhere.

Is there anything specific about the folder that is bad? I’ve never had to update or recreate it before…I wouldn’t know where to start since I have so many mods. Is there a way to merge the new update.rpf over into the mods folder without overwriting all mods?

Pressing F4 works fine without crashing. It’s when I load the LSPDFR plugin that it crashes.

Any insight or guidance helps! Thank you!

What Cyan is saying is that the mods folder is causing LSPDFR to crash. Below are some steps to troubleshoot it:

1. Install the Gameconfig, Heap Adjuster, and Packfile Adjuster.

2. If those do not work, remove what you have added recently and test after each removal.

3. If you still cannot find the issue, you will have to restart the mods folder. This is due to it being relatively impossible for us to diagnose the exact issue.

Okay, I've removed a couple of plugins I installed prior to updating but didn't test. Once I load LSPDFR either via LoadPlugin command or ReloadAllPlugins, it seems to load but the console is stuck with the cursor flashing, not being able to type anything or exit from the console (Pressing F4). I've attached another log. Please advise. Thank you!

Open your RPH Settings. Set it so only LSPDFR loads on startup. To do this, see below:

Accessing the RagePluginHook Settings:

Spoiler

To access your RagePluginHook settings, hold Shift straight after launching RagePluginHook.
Alternatively, press the little silver cog icon when you see the RagePluginHook splash screen after launching.

I'm having some progress so far. I run 5Real and LA Revo 2.0 so I was able to load LSPDFR after removing some adjusters I had installed (5REAL/LA Revo 2.0 only require the resource adjuster. I had to remove some other plugins, but now when I ForceDuty, I am crashing once again. I assume it may be a combination of my plugins which may not yet be compatible with this new update. Could you see which plugins are causing the crash based on this error log? Thank you!!!

the problem now is likely a graphics mod issue [System.AccessViolationException], lspdfr for some reason doesnt work well with some graphics mods, for example NVE is one of these graphics mods. try uninstalling your graphics mods like 5REAL and Revo and see if it fixes.

They should have them installed as I recommended them earlier in this thread.

@kaydonis You are still having a mods folder issue. If you have already installed the gameconfig and adjusters earlier, the only options you have are to either remove what you have added recently to the mods folder and test after each removal or restart the mods folder.
