I updated my SHV, RPH, ELS etc. I am using the new patchday 2024 for vehicles, I also deleted all of my ELS xml files to try and reinstall them. My asiloader.log says ELS.asi "failed to load". I tried to use a non els vehicle but it also doesnt let me turn any lights on with the keyboard keybinds and controller. When I am in an ELS vehicle, either the lights are on and not flashing, or they're off and if I press down on the left analog stick, only the tail lights flash and nothing else flashes. 

I also have NVE but I downloaded all of the new updates to it as well. I also tried uninstalling the asi loaders on openiv and installing them but it didn't work. I also downloaded the SHV nightly updates as well to see if that would help but im so confused and at a loss to what I could do to fix it. I included screenshots of my GTA directory and some of the logs.

I saw someone write up a small article about this issue earlier today on reddit. they were saying that it is a known issue that SHV and ELS aren't getting along since the update and they're working on a solution from either ELS or SHV but in the meantime they said to just delete the els.asi and wait for an update... bummer 

I was honestly just gonna stop trying for now and wait to see if anything changes lol I appreciate the input though

Double-check to make sure you've indeed updated the AdvancedHook.dll and ScriptHookV to the latest version.  

 

If you are sure everything is updated, I suggest removing NVE and testing it again.

As far as I know unless the July NVE is now out NVE is not working. They said the scripthook update messed it up and we would have to wait for the early July version before it would be working again.

Might be a stupid question but what is NVE? And I managed to get ELS working but now the car lights aren’t flashing.. even when I change the settings for them nothing happens (headlights, backup lights, etc.) the environment shows they are working but nothing on the car is flashing. Any ideas?

Natural vision Evolved its a graphics overhaul mod. Scripthook update messed it up so the game won't run with it installed until an update for NVE comes out.

I still have not gotten ELS to work but I did get my lights working. If the cars you are using came with a  Carcols and a carvariations.meta that might be your light issue. I deleted the lines the mod had me put into the Carvaiation.met and now my lights work for it. You might give that a shot.
