Problems when using sirens/sound- "J' key.

Featured Replies

I hope this topic goes here,

Anyway for the longest time, using DLS along with LSPDFR worked as it should, activating the "J" key only turned on the lightbar stages. However recerntly when  I hit J, in all 3 stages the siren also activates. I am wondering if LSPDFR is overiding DLS or something else. Its annoying because in many incidents I just need lights and not sound. The only time the siren shuts off is when I get out of the car, but when I get back in, it comes on again until I shut the lights off by J. Also the 1 through 5 keys work as siren sound for stages without lights, The G key also activates siren without lights. Is there some new key for light stages only? How do I fix this?

mods used

LSPDFR current version

DLS

Sirens mega sound pack "oiv" (only sounds)

siren settings limit adjuster (sound not effect light activation)

simple control

EUPFR Ultimate (full with cars)

dls xml files for all eupfr vehicles in mod

all plugins (RPH/scripthook etc required are up to date.

All these mods worked fine before without messing up the lights activations.

Thanks in advance.

This is called key-conflicts, and is almost always a result of installing multiple plugins. The solution depends on the installed plugins having user-configuration through INI-file setup. You need to look for key-conflicts between the plugins you have installed, and the key-setting for default LSPDFR.
Since you have this as a new issue, the best candidate for the problem is the the latest / newest plugin you have installed.
