I never heard of Southland until a few months ago, Now i absolutely love the show. It is now my favorite police show! Sadly I've only seen up to Season 3 because it hardly ever airs here in Australia:(

I think the way they film it has changed like they use to have it so you felt more in the action like the camera man actually running with the camera shaking (So it was like from the view of a cop) , It was more realistic now though its different the way they film it and the story line have made it boring. Ben and Cooper ruled when they were partners i wish they would join up back together.

Well guys. I hate to say it, but I have a friend who's informed me that many of the show's actors are currently taking on pilots. Three of the four main actors are moving on to new projects.

 

And when that happens, the show ends. Not trying to be a Debbie Downer here, but that is what I have heard. The show could see a resurgence with new characters and actors, but that is oftentimes not the case, and since people connect to a character, when they see them go, so do the numbers to retain those viewers.

That does make sense! We will wait and see.

Ben McKenzie has stated on twitter that if SouthLAnd is renewed, it'll ALWAYS be his first choice. No matter if he's joined a pilot show or not.
