Well a 6770 isn't that strong of a card really. About half the power of a 560 Ti (source)

The CPU you found is plenty strong but you should really find a better video card.

Been scouting around Dell's website and they have a deal/sale on gaming pc's at the moment but, i don't know what to pick ( internal wise ) Could someone please have a look and recommend one for me as my knowledge of gaming pc's suck

I do not recommend DELL PCs! Ok, it may be good for you cause everything's ready and you can start at once without touching anything but they are WAY too expensive for their specs and often are fucked up with damn programs so you first gotta install Win7 again *lol*

I can't really recommend some stores in scotland but maybe you want to ask sam or jay or anyone for a better shop...

Well Dell stock Alienwares and they look to have some money chopped off, talked to parents and they seem fine with it :) Also i need now is some technical support asap.

If you are not comfortable with building your own PC, which isn't that hard [link], you could use this, you chose the parts and they build it. Anything is better than buying a PC from someone who will give crap warrantys, bundle a tonne of crapware (some of it damn hard to remove, {cough} Norton {cough}) and not give you a real OS disc to reinstall properly.

Thanks Sniper but i still need help with the technical side of things. If someone could contact me on skype or something and talk me through what to pick, and i could compare prices to the site you recommended and to a AlienWare.

To be honest, if you have at least 4gb of ram, and a minimm of dual core, That quality your games , depends solely on your graphics card.
