GTA V Not Crashing on Loading Screen

Featured Replies

I installed the updated versions of script hook v, rph, and lspdfr due to the new gta v update. When I launch the game im stuck on a black screen for around two to four seconds and then GTA V closes. How do I fix that?

Have you updated your mods folder? If not, please see the following:

Spoiler

Using Windows File Explorer navigate to: Grand Theft Auto V/update. Copy the update.rpf into: Grand Theft Auto V/mods/update. If you currently have an update2.rpf file in this directory - delete it.

Oh no I didn't, how do i update it without it messing up all the dlcpacks I have installed?

Because last time I did that, it removed them from the dlclist and but still had them loaded into the game and i couldnt unload them.

Make a backup of files you want to keep. Then follow the steps I posted above.

I did what you said, still the same thing is happening. I even tried running the game normally (without launching RPH) and after 2 seconds of a black screen it closes.

It's totally problem with your mods folder.

RagePluginHook.log

update: I got it to load in now, there was a problem with the format of my mods menu that was preventing it from loading. It loads when I have the dlc packs in my dlc list, however, even though they are in my dlc list they aren't showing up in game. For example, car packs like nforce or legacypack and buildings like mission row police department.

Right but I'm not installing replacements I'm installing dlcpacks. I checked with others to make sure they were installed properly. I added the exact lines from the readme.txt files into dlclist.xml but they dont show up in game when I go to spawn them.
