Rage Plugin Hook crashing on "Initializing texture system; phase 14"

Featured Replies

Hi,

Whenever loading Rage Plugin Hook, my game crashes and this is what appears in the error log as the last thing "Initializing texture system; phase 14".

I have tried multiple things including the following: Setting delay time to 60000, Setting all mods NOT to load and also whitelisting my GTA 5 directory in Windows Virus Protection and I have also renamed my mods folder to include an underscore but still to no avail.

I have included my crash log below, I would appreciate it if anybody could take a look and assist me in fixing this issue.

Regards,
Loyalist

Rename mods to _mods, EXACT same stuff happening to me as well, probably an outdated vehicle mod or something, hope they find a fix

I have already attempted this but it still doesn't work, also adding the underscore disables the mod folder menaing I can't use the mods in it

Yeah its the only temp fix that works for me, every other "fix" I've tried doesnt work, idk if we have to wait for script hook to update or something. My guess is that Right now, there is no permanent solution, so we may have to wait. If you find one let us know bruz 🤑

I know the issue isn't with my mods folder as adding the underscore is supposed to disable the mods folder

Start by removing ScriptHookV.dll. Then try again.

I have deleted and reinstalled scripthook v multiple times, I even removed the"bin" folder as you suggested in another post with people having a similar issue to me

And it still crashes? If so, remove any reshade/enb files and try again.

I actually think the issue may be with NVE, because the issue is a texture one, and Razed just released a new NVE update dated 17th Of December. So I am currently downloading the new version of NVE although it is extremely slow through the download link on his website, will keep you notified.

I can succesfully confirm the issue is NVE, after uninstalling NVE from my game I am now able to load LSPDFR properly and also load RPH. I currently cannot confirm if the new NVE patch released yesterday will work, but I will keep you updated and let you know once it has been installed.
