So a few days ago I started having an issue with LSPDFR needing my pc to restart every time I wanted to play it. I found that renaming dinput8.dll to “_dinput8.dll” now the weird thing is that this happened out of the blue, I installed no new mods or anything, it just happened. Yesterday it stoped doing it again but then it started that same night. I reinstalled GTA 5 and reinstalled LSPDFR and scripthook v and scripthook v.net. This is really irritating because I really want to have them mods. (I also deleted the mods and tried again without them and it still happened)

Dinput8.dll loads .asi files, so you have to search or remove your .asi files to solve the issue. Dinput8.dll itself is not the problem.

I have removed all asi files however the issue still occurs.

Post a screenshot of the gta folder

And the ragepluginhook.log from the main gta folder would help too

I changed ".asi" to ".asii" so the game doesn't load them.

You didn’t rename scripthookvdotnet.asi which means it loads stuff in the scripts folder.

rename scripthookvdotnet.asi and check, if the error is gone.

This appears to work, however I will test it again shortly. And If it does I will mark this as the solution.

Nothing, all I did was close the game and reopen it.

Here is the log, but this time I didn't let it load lspdfr on startup and decided to start it via console, however it instantly crashed the game. So it could be a problem with lspdfr?

Just one other thing, it may be related but not a stopping point, When I use "shots fired" with grammar police, the units respond but there is no blip on the map. They also stop perusing the suspect(s). 

You could always try a re-install and see if that helps.
