I was wondering if it was possible to change items from the default backup menu

For instance, rename items (Local SWAT Team -> Local Gang Unit; NOoSE SWAT Team -> Local SWAT Team)

Also, if this is possible, I was wondering if it was possible to add new items to this menu (like an Air Ambulance)

And finally, adding new behavior to specific agencies (I created a new fire dept in my agency.xml but it behaves as a cop agency of course as the lsfd's behavior is probably registered in the LSPD First Reponse.dll)

I know this is all doable trough plugins like Ultimate Backup but I prefer the way the default backup menu works.

 

So what I've seen for now is where the list of the default backup menu items is stored, but only the internal names (seen through Visual Studio when importing the LSPDFR.dll as a reference)

But obviously, "NooseTeam" isn't what's displayed in-game (as it is "NOOSE SWAT Team", so this internal name has to be linked to a string name at some point

You cannot edit the menu names nor add items to it.

Defining which agencies respond when you request a certain backup type is done in backup.xml. If you added a new fire department you would add it under <Firetruck> to have it treated as such.
