I was just wondering in order for me to take screen shots of cars in game what program do I need and how do I use it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can press F12 if you launch the game via Steam, alternatively you can download the free version of Fraps, the free version can take screenshots without any problems or restrictions if I remember correctly.

You can view and change the keyboard shortcut in fraps settings.

With the free version, you cannot take pictures as PNGs or JPGs, I believe you can only take them as BMPs.

Well with the Free Version of Bandicam you can also take them as PNG

use xfire the best to use

For me GTA 4 + ENB Mod dosen't work with Xfire.

IDK why but whenever i try to run the Game while Xfire is connected to it, it crashes.

If i play the Game without ENB Mods i don't have that Problem.

So i guess Xfire and ENB's don't work together. At least not for me.

 

well i dont use enb so i wouldnt no!!

Yeah i just mentioned it. Maybe tacobell432 is using one.

No i dont use ENB my computer cannot handle it. It is really crappy I just use a timecycle.

It's a real cool program that catches what you're playing and how long. + It has Build in Screenshot, Video and Prodcasting functions

And you can Chat Ingame xD

Hitting printscreen and pasting into paint also works (for me anyways) not sure if you have tryed that. Only thing ive had an issue is when it gets really dark and I paste into paint, it tends to be just all black :P.

There is a free program called Paint.net I use at work that does most of what Photoshop does, and follows the same shortcut commands too. Give that a try.

 

Its also great if you just want to use the printscreen button. Also, there is a program called VSO image resizer that's really simple and will adjust your images with a click and converts to jpeg if you want as well. I believe it is called Light Image Resizer now.

 

Both programs are free. Give those a try guys, its what I use for my screenshots.
