I have noticed that occasionally I respond to a suicidal person and when I am pulling up there is another unit pulling up at the same time. They get out of the car, draw their guns, but otherwise stay out of the way unless I get shot in which case they open up on the EDP.

Personally I think this is pretty cool, but not sure why it only happens with the suicidal person and not everytime either. I would think this would be a neat feature to have in the game. After all in real life, if I was responding on a "shots fired" call I wouldn't be the only car to respond. Of course I can call for back up but there is something cool about rolling up on the scene and having antother car pulling up at the same time. This is also different from when you encounter multiple shooters then any cars driving by will automatically engage the perps.

Anyone else notice this or am I the only one? I think it would be pretty cool to have an option to have a backup unit "meet you at the scene" before you even get there. This could be different from CTL+B which has backup respond to where you are.

I know that the game script causes behavior that is unrealistic, like me going code to a call to pass like 100 cars just driving around eating donuts (ok that part may be real) then have me chasing a suspect on foot past a car stopped at a light and they just sit there. But hey, even with all these imperfections, it is still a very cool mod.

I think there is a reason that they pull up for the suicidal call, so that if you get shot, they can shoot the suicidal guy.

Whilst this is cool on the mission, I prefer to arrive on a shots fired and decide myself what backup I want, or if I want to do it rambo style.
