What Callouts Should I Make?

Featured Replies

Title basically. I’m making a callout pack and want some suggestions so it’ll be unique. Here’s what I’ve got so far:

- Gang related drive by shooting [DONE]

- Active shooter on the beach [DONE]

- Deranged clown [DONE]
- Clown gang [DONE]

- Terrorists holding hostages on the yacht [DONE]
- “Fiery, but mostly peaceful protest” [WIP]

- Person siphoning gas [WIP]

Would love to hear your ideas 🙂

(I’m a beginner with GTA 5 modding so nothing super complex please 😅)

I think a callout for stealing gas out of a car or something like that would be pretty cool.

That would be cool, I'll add it to the list 🙂

What is the gameplay?
Have you considered that?
Gameplay is the most important angle to consider at all time, when you make a computer-game, and a call-out is a 'kind' of computer-game-Level.
What is the difference between stealing gas and apprehending any Ped on any location?

Are there any special gameplay in the situation stealing gas?

If you can find new special or interesting gameplay in the situation, then you have a good chance to make a great call-out

Let me know if you find it interesting.
Best Regards.

Im not quite sure I was just thinking more along the lines where a car would be parked somewhere or something and a ped would be on his knees with a fuel canister in his hand and him putting it near the gas cap on the car.

Not sure that pose exists, but could be, there are ~35K poses and animations!
But lets look at the game-play in that situation.
We need to make this event different from stopping a random ped.
Can you think of a way?

It could also be where the one ped that was stealing gas gets caught by the owner of the vehicle and they start having a fight when you arrive. So that eliminates the pose issue and would possibly fix the other issue.

I would suggest more realistic callouts.  Look at the current list of callout packs on the site and you'll see a lot of the same regurgitated content that is created (too much copy/paste which in a lot of cases is code theft) and isn't enjoyable for long time LSPDFR players like myself.

Remember cops see a lot of routine traffic stops, domestic calls, serving warrants, etc.  Shootouts, hostages, attempted suicides, bank robberies, attempted rapes and so are over done.  Also remember there are those of us who are content creators on YouTube and some things in the callouts can get a person banned.  So take into account that those that download your pack may be a content creator and really wants to showcase your work.

It could, but then what we would have in that case was a street-fight-event Try thinking on the specifics in the situation "Stealing petrol"
Here in the spoiler-box i give that a go..

But before you open it try to think the possibilities through yourself.

Spoiler

Fire!
That is what is special in a situation where petrol is handled

The Ped stealing petrol can use fire as an aggression against Player. He has the petrol and there are different scenarios that could be implemented.
* He can threaten pouring it out under some vehicles with people inside (Hostage and negotiation)

* He can run away splashing petrol and making small fires that player has to avoid or extinct before they spread (a decision situation)

* He could make molotovs and bombard Player and backup (Molotovs exists as a weapon in GTAV)
Any idea where petrol is used for fires could make a unique call-out.

I would like to see callouts where you enter a restaurant for a disturbance or get an alarm call at a closed store or at a home and find an open door and you have to clear it.  Callout where someone damaging a building or car and you have to arrest the person.... some examples.
