January 21, 201313 yr Greetings everyone. I received some extra cash and put together a system... recently built it and GTA iV seems to work well. Initially I had some issues and after testing found out I had a bad graphics card... but now GTA is stable and can run for hours with no issue on totally maxed out settings. But now Im concerned with loading mods and having issues. So wondering if anyone has a similar system or set-up and can tell me the best way, sequence etc to load mods. First here is my system specs: Processor: Intel i5-3570 Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V LK RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance Blue 1600 CPU Cooler: Corsair H800i Graphic Card: Gigabyte GTX 670 OC with 2GB Power Supply: Corsair HX-850 Data Storage: Both SSD & Mechanical HDs Case: Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 I know my cooler is a bit overkill... but I originally was going to get the i7-3770 but for $100 less there's not much difference in processor performance as far as gaming so I got the i5 instead and rather then re-researching the coolers just kept the one I originally ordered. It actually keeps the processor pretty cool. And with the Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 case with all the fans etc... my overall system is pretty cool. Had to swap out the default color shift fans for Cooler Master fans which are really quiet. So there's my system. So now that I got everything working and GTA IV (Steam) ... how do I get to play LCPDFR with ELS and replacing the games generic cars with ELS compatible cars? I tried doing it and I get tons of taxis all over the place... and in different parts of the city I will get all one generic car type. I see videos on youtube with nicely mixed traffic. Thats what I want. I would also like to run mods that make the game look realistic and some of the other fun police mods like Towing and other things i see on the many youtube videos I have seen in the past 2 years. Any suggestions as to how to go about installing these without getting crazy bugs making me have to re-inslall again and again? Thank you all for your help.
