always is says that you simply shouldn´t update or revert back your game version to play.

Well, that´s not working. I use the -scofflineonly extension, and everytime I want to start, the shitty R*Launcher still wants to update. I disabled automatic updates, not working, still wants to update, I disconnect from the internet, does not start - needs internet connection. So is there ANY way to play constantly on an old game version without the fucking launcher everytime updating it? Bypass doesn´t work either...

I don't think the retail version allows you easily, no.

It´s a shame that you need a constant internet connection and you are forced to keep a game up to date. Things were much easier back then. I remember Far Cry had an update to have your hand exactly on the bottom of an object, when you wanted to climb up. The next update you were inches away and your hands were floating in the air. They never fixed it. That´s not what I call an update... Game industry should let the players decide what version they want to use. But they don´t get it, that´s why the community is so mad against developers. They simply don´t listen to fans...

Only capcom seems to get what really matters but that was a long path...

Well, way exist, but discussing it against of site guidelines and may be not safe to use, because it's critical modification of some important files, you know.

well, at the moment with launcher it works for me, just waiting for updates sucks but waiting for a week is not so bad I guess... and I think updates will be stopped as soon as GTA6 will officially be available
