I am puzzled why it wont let me go on duty.

The first thing I did was download C++ Library pack and the .net framework 4 thing. Then I proceeded to download the LSPDFR install thing and installed it. (For a side reference I also put that xfile.dll thing in my folder if that would make any difference) Anyways I start up the game and all is fine and dandy but when I go to press ALT-P to go on duty nothing happens at all. I did the scan and it told me every thing was fine.

Guess he does try running the game as admin if that wont work check if you got any other mods installed if yes disable them and try again.

You said you put xlive.dll in to it. Go into program files, Rockstar games, Grand theft auto IV and when you look in it have you got DSOUND.dll in it as well as xlive.dll? if so remove xlive.dll run LaunchGTAIV as Administrator from there in game hold Alt and press P it should work from there if you have any more problems you can message me through my profile. :)

I think he mean dsound.dll. He have no other asi loader.

GTA IV - Asi loader: DSOUND

But try xlive.dll instead of dsound.dll.

Then reinstall this (link) and this (link)

And read this (link).

No (For a side reference I also put that xfile.dll thing in my folder if that would make any difference) Is what he said meaning xlive.dll. Please don't correct people if you haven't read the text properly.

Look at the log in the first post.

GTA IV - Asi loader: DSOUND

Now btt pls -.-

Yes he might have both in at the same time. Installed it with DSOUND.dll and then copied and pasted xlive.dll in as well? When i had two in at the same time it only came up with the .dll I had installed using the installer.

True, but you got infraction points before of the same thing. You should pay more attention when posting, in other words... Edit always so you don't end up doubleposting.
