Game crashes on loading screen whenever I install vehicles into mods folder

Featured Replies

I keep trying to install vehicles into LSPDFR, following countless different videos and step-by-step instructions, but even after a 45 minute tutorial, whenever I add anything into my mods folder, the game crashes at the load screen.

For instance, I've been trying to install the undercover 2021 GMC Yukon by Rabbit (can't remember their full user), and I've followed the instructions given with the files from the download page for the Yukon, combined with a video on YouTube showcasing how to install that same vehicle, but I am yet to be struck with any form of luck. For reference, I always try to download the add-on, as I'm not keen on replacing any of the vehicles already in game. I do have ELS installed and working, btw.

As soon as I create a new mods folder (yes I know how to do that correctly) with no mods in it, the game works fine, so it isn't the existence of the mods folder itself that's the problem. I'm not saying it's the model either, but I am just unsure of what I'm doing wrong here. Also I did see one other forum post which stated reinstalling EUP worked for them. Tried that, didn't work.
